Below are a couple of top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, featuring WrestleMania 41 and Ricochet.

• With WrestleMania 41 approaching, TKO COO Mark Shapiro teased major surprises but kept details under wraps at the Morgan Stanley Conference.

Praising Triple H’s creative team, he hinted at a spectacle in Las Vegas, joking that revealing spoilers would get him in trouble.

“You’ll be amazed at the surprises that are about to come your way at WrestleMania in Las Vegas.”

Shapiro highlighted WWE’s growing cultural impact, citing The Rock, John Cena, and Cody Rhodes dominating ESPN’s front page.

Comparing WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium to UFC 306 at The Sphere, he promised an unforgettable weekend and noted it as a prime moment for business negotiations.

• The AEW-Prime Video deal does not include PPVs in a Prime subscription. Instead, like UFC on ESPN+, Prime members can order AEW PPVs for an additional cost.

This is not an exclusive deal—PPVs will still be available on other platforms like TrillerTV and traditional PPV, with availability on MAX later this year.

Ricochet tweeted the following about this:

“I love how DUMB people are. Apparently, they all forgot what ‘PPV’ means. Lol

‘I have Prime, so I should be able to watch for free?’

As they rent/buy movies, TV shows, and more. Idiots, man. Idiots.”
