Big Stable Being Formed On Raw With NXT Star? Top WWE Star Still Being Punished, Simon Gotch Sent Home After Fight With Sin Cara, One Man Gang Reveals How Much Of A Pro Hulk Hogan Was & Still Is

Let us take a look at the top 8 WWE News & Professional Wrestling stories of the hour:

8. Bayley Confirms That Her Appearance at Battleground 2016 Was a One Time Thing
As we noted yesterday, former NXT Women’s Champion Bayley, who made her main roster debut as Sasha Banks’ mystery partner at Battleground 2016, is not scheduled to be a part of the main roster at the moment.

Michael Cole & JBL mentioned multiple times that Bayley’s appearance on a WWE main roster PPV was only a one-time thing. As we have noted before, she’s expected to stay in NXT until her NXT Women’s Championship rematch against Asuka at NXT Takeover: Back To Brooklyn.

Bayley has also confirmed that her appearance was a one time thing in the interview below:

It’s safe to say Bayley won’t be competing at SummerSlam 2016, but she’ll be wrestling during the SummerSlam weekend at Takeover. Below is what Bayley said about the NXT Women’s Title during an interview with WWE.com:

“Winning back that title has always been my top priority, because being the best has always been my goal in NXT. Ever since I lost the Women’s Championship to Asuka, I feel like I’ve been targeted in a whole different way. People have tried to keep me down and keep me away from the title picture to make sure that I never get a chance again. And personally, I’ve struggled with a lot of doubt in myself at times. I’ve become more aggressive than I was last April. I’m more demanding. I know I deserve this rematch, and I won’t take no for an answer any longer.”

7. Simon Gotch Not Working This Week’s Tapings Due To His Backstage Fight With Sin Cara

As we noted before, Sin Cara and Simon Gotch (of The Vaudevillains) got into a fight backstage at last week’s Draft edition of SmackDown Live. The fight is said to have taken place in the catering room and the reason of the fight is still unknown.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Sin Cara (the former Hunico in WWE) destroyed Gotch in the fight. Below is what Meltzer said:

“There was a fight, if that could even be the term, at catering before this week’s SmackDown Live involving Sin Cara & Simon Gotch. It was said to be a quick and one-sided destruction in favor of Sin Cara. We still don’t have the word on how it started and escalated into what it turned into.”

It looks like Gotch is getting punished for this as he didn’t work this weekend’s WWE Live Events while his tag team partner, Aiden English, did. Also, Gotch is not being allowed to work at this week’s WWE events and has been sent home. It should be noted that Gotch came out during the end of Battleground 2016 PPV along with the whole SmackDown Live roster.

During the Draft, Sin Cara was drafted to Raw & Simon Gotch (along with his tag team partner Aiden English) was drafted to SmackDown Live.
