WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio’s son Dominik Mysterio is currently a member of the Judgment Day faction, alongside Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor & Damian Priest.

According to the Wrestling Observer, former nWo & nWo Wolfpac member Konnan – who is actually the real-life godfather of Dominik – had talks with WWE about working with his godson on television and behind the scenes:

“Konnan was on Inside the Ropes radio and talked about having discussions to come here and how his goal is to work with Dominik Mysterio, who in real life is his godson.

He said it hasn’t gotten past the discussion phase and said it was one of the two goals he has left (the other is to promote a major Lucha Libre show in the U.S.).”

Konnan joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1992 and became The Comet Kid (Max Moon), but abruptly left the promotion after a disagreement with Vince McMahon, and the gimmick was given to Paul Diamond instead.

After a brief stint in Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1995, Konnan joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in January 1996 and quickly made a name for himself there and eventually joined the legendary new World order faction, and later on its nWo Wolfpac version.

Konnan inducted Rey Mysterio into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2023.
