• Old School WWF/WCW Legend Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WCW/WWF Legend Johnny B. Badd aka “The Wild Man” Marc Mero celebrates his 55th birthday today.
He wrestled for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling from 1991 till 1996 and then joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1996, where he competed until 1999.
The last time we saw him wrestle for a major promotion was during his TNA run in 2005, once again going by his WCW name Johnny B. Badd.
He was married to “Sable” Rena Mero, who is now the wife of “The Beast” Brock Lesnar.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARC MERO!
• Steel Cage Match Expected To Be Announced For Extreme Rules 2018 On Tonight’s Episode Of RAW
As we have noted before, Mr. Money In The Bank Braun Strowman & Kevin Owens are expected to face each other in a Steel Cage match at this Sunday’s Extreme Rules 2018 PPV.
That match is expected to be announced on tonight’s episode of RAW. Below is what WWE posted regarding this feud ahead of tonight’s episode of RAW:
“Kevin Owens, Braun Strowman’s not finished with you. After becoming a target of The Monster Among Men, KO found himself in a foul predicament when Strowman trapped him inside a portable toilet and knocked the potty off the stage. It was gross, and judging by Owens’ expression afterward, the incident stung more than his nostrils.
Mr. Monster in the Bank tends to stick to his prey like a great white shark in a Steven Spielberg flick or, perhaps more appropriately in this case, like flies on you-know-what. Expect more of that signature Strowman destruction at KO’s expense this week.”
• Former RAW Champion Unlikely To Return On Tonight’s RAW
Jason Jordan has been out of action for several months due to a neck injury he has been dealing with. It looks like that he has completely recovered (after he underwent neck surgery back in February) and is ready to return to the ring.
Word is going around that Jordan might be making his return as soon as tonight on RAW. Recently, photos surfaced online which showed that he made some appearances for WWE over the past few days.
However, it is unlikely that the former RAW Tag Team Champion will return to RAW this week as the show will be more focused on a final build up for Extreme Rules 2018 which takes place this Sunday. Most returns usually take place on pay-per-views or the post pay-per-view show.
Plans can change anytime but chances of WWE starting a new feud for Jason Jordan just a week before Extreme Rules are pretty low. Jason will probably be back in the ring on the road to SummerSlam (or after that) where he might be involved in a fresh storyline.
