• Former UFC Fighter Passes Away At Age 38

We are saddened to announce that former UFC Light Heavyweight Title contender Anthony “Rumble” Johnson has passed away at the age of 38.

Ariel Helwani reported the following:

“Johnson had been battling an illness for quite some time. One of the hardest hitters and most talented fighters in MMA history. Gone way too soon. May he rest in peace.”

Anthony competed in the UFC from 2007 to 2012 and again from 2014 to 2017. He fought for the UFC Light Heavyweight Title (205 lbs) on two occasions, both times against Daniel Cormier, and was unsuccessful in winning the Title.

He retired from UFC in 2017. However, he came out of retirement a few years later and joined Bellator MMA, where his last fight took place in 2021, which he won.

His career began back in 2006 and his MMA record was 23-6.
