Old School WrestleMania Celebrity Mr. T (Real name: Laurence Tureaud) celebrates his 68th birthday today.

World famous actor Mr. T (Rocky III, The A-Team) teamed up with Hulk Hogan in the main event of the inaugural WrestleMania in 1985.

A year later at WrestleMania 2, Mr. T competed against “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in a (worked) boxing match.

In 2014, Mean Gene Okerlund inducted him into the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame.

• Former United States Champion Could Miss WWE Events For Months

As we noted earlier, former United States Champion Robert Roode hasn’t been able to work WWE events as the Canadian border is closed for non-essential workers. Therefore, he cannot enter the USA.

In a new update, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated that the travel ban on non-essential workers may be extended for a couple of more months, as he considers it the right thing to do.

CTV News reported the following:

“An agreement has been reached between Canada and the United States to keep the border closed to all non-essential travel for another month, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced, calling it the ‘right thing’ to do. He is cautioning that it could be months still before non-essential travel is allowed.”

Just like Roode, The Singh Brothers are also facing the travel ban. Unless WWE pulls some strings for them like they did for Brock Lesnar, expect Roode and The Singh Brothers to be off WWE programming.
