• Former WCW Champion Claims Paige Is One Bump Away From Being In A Wheelchair

Old School WWF/WCW writer Vince Russo, who also held the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on one occasion in 2000, was interviewed on Dr. Chris Featherstone‘s podcast, where he talked about retired WWE Superstar Paige recently teasing a potential in-ring return.

Here’s what Russo had to say about her situation:

“The fact that all of them decide to get back in that ring, Chris, when all it takes is one mistake, one miscalculation, one green guy, one bump taken wrong. Bro, you are one bump away from a wheelchair…if you’re lucky, if you’re lucky, one bump away. That’s how close you are.”

Paige was forced to retire from active professional wrestling in 2018 after a severe neck injury.
