WWE is set to return to Japan for a house show tour next week, starting in Osaka on July 25th and continuing at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall on July 26th and 27th.
The tour will feature top WWE stars, including Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Shinsuke Nakamura, Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane. However, Asuka is currently sidelined with a knee injury, so she will most likely have a non-wrestling role.
It should be noted that Meiko Satomura is also advertised to work this tour.
Meiko Satomura, who co-founded Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling and has been with WWE since 2020, will return to in-ring action after not wrestling since March 7, 2023. She will team up with Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair to face Damage CTRL (IYO SKY, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai).
Satomura is a former NXT UK Women’s Champion and also wrestled in WCW back in 1996 & 1997.
