Sasha Banks made her NXT debut on January 23rd 2013 and eventually made it to the WWE main roster on July 13th 2015, when she became a member of the RAW roster.

During the May 16th 2022 episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, she walked out on WWE after a creative dispute, along with her tag team partner Naomi, which resulted in both being suspended indefinitely and their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles were vacated.

Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks) is currently wrestling for New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Stardom in Japan.

WWE Ruthless Aggression Era Diva Melina spoke about a potential match against Sasha on the independent scene or in Japan, during a recent LIVE stream on Twitter.

Here’s what Melina said:

“No, I don’t think she’s scared to wrestle me. I don’t think so. But at the same time, I’m like ‘Hmmm. Hmmm. What’s going on here? Why are you avoiding me?’.

Maybe it’s because we have this mutual you know, it’s kind of hard to have like somebody you’re developing a friendship with and have to face each other.

It’s like ‘Nooo, maybe it’s that, it’s that’. But at the same time, we know without question what kind of match that would be. It would be kind of awesome.”

After some time in WWE’s developmental promotion Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) and some uncredited cameos on WWE TV, Melina had her official World Wrestling Entertainment debut on the April 14th 2005 episode of ‘SmackDown!’, as the valet of MNM.

She wrestled for WWE until she was released in 2011, but 11 years later entered the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match as a surprise entrant, where she only lasted 53 seconds though, before getting eliminated by Sasha.

Melina held the WWE Divas Championship twice and the WWE Women’s Championship thrice.
