Independent wrestler Caleb Konley was recently interviewed on ‘The A2theK Wrestling Show’, where he blamed WWF Legend Jeff Jarrett for coming up with the Suicide character in Dixie Carter’s ‘Total Nonstop Action!’ back in the day.

The Suicide character had Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and TJP under the mask at different times, but Caleb Konley was rumored to have been under the mask as well, when Suicide returned around 2016.

Here’s what Caleb said about those rumors:

“That is a rumor. I’ve heard that from time to time. I’ve never met the guy personally, but I know that he was pretty stoked to come back in 2016, 2017.

Jeff Jarrett is completely to blame for Suicide returning, he’s probably to blame for all of the Suicide stuff, honestly.

I was just hanging out at home waiting for an opportunity to come my way and they had me under contract.

I got a call one day, and they said ‘Do you want to do this?’. It was cool.

At times it seemed directionless, but at the same time because of Suicide, I got to wrestle in Australia, I got to a couple of tours of England out of it.

I got to wrestle in India for IMPACT, I got to see a whole lot of the world because of this dumb masked character.”

The gimmick was born out of a TNA video game back in the day, but was obviously pretty controversial, because of its name.
