• Former Women’s Tag Team Champion Could Return At Royal Rumble 2022

According to Fightful Select, WWE officials are discussing bringing back former Women’s Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane for the Women’s Royal Rumble 2022 match:

“Kairi Sane hasn’t competed for WWE in a year and a half, but we’ve heard that her name has been pitched as a possible Royal Rumble entry for this weekend.

Sane left the United States in the Summer of 2020 and returned to Japan, where she’s remained with WWE in an official capacity as an ambassador. She’s also done commentary work for WWE in Japan.”

Kairi is 33 years old and made her pro-wrestling debut 10 years ago.

Her last match took place on the July 20, 2020 episode of RAW, where she defeated Bayley.

She’s also a former NXT Women’s Champion and the winner of the 2017 Mae Young Classic.
