• Former World Champion Not Signing With WWE
Former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White recently left New Japan Pro Wrestling.
There was speculation that White could be coming to WWE. There was even a report which stated that Triple H is very confident about signing White.
However, it looks like the 30-year-old wrestler won’t be coming to WWE.
Below is what PWInsider reported:
“There was absolutely no discussion of former New Japan Pro Wrestling star Jay White within WWE at all over the WrestleMania 39 weekend.
Based on multiple conversations with WWE officials and talents, we are told it does not appear White is WWE-bound.”
White signing with All Elite Wrestling wouldn’t be a surprise at all, since he has friends over there and has wrestled in that promotion as well (due to AEW’s partnership with NJPW).

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on April 5, 1992, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WrestleMania VIII’ LIVE on PPV from the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This was the 8th annual WrestleMania event and it had the taglines “Friendship Torn Apart!” & “The Macho/Flair Affair!”.
The inaugural WrestleMania happened in 1985 and even nowadays WrestleMania is still by far the biggest professional wrestling event on the planet each year.
