• Former WWE Champion Credits WrestleMania 6 ‘Hogan vs. Warrior’ Main Event For His Love Of Pro-Wrestling

During a recent interview with Josh Martinez, former WWE Champion Seth Rollins was asked which match eventually made him fall in love with the sport of professional wrestling.

Here’s what he answered:

“I would say Hulk Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 6. That’s probably the one for me that got me like stuck, stuck.

I was a fan a little bit before that, but that was the one, I have the image of the video cassette tape burned into my brain of WrestleMania 6. So, that would be the one where I was like, ‘yeah, this is it for me’.”

15 Years after the iconic WWF WrestleMania VI main event, Seth made his own pro-wrestling debut, when he first started wrestling on the independent scene, where he ended up quickly making a name for himself as Tyler Black.

In September 2010, he received the ring name ‘Seth Rollins’ when he signed with WWE’s developmental promotion Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), but didn’t debut on the WWE main roster till the 2012 Survivor Series PPV, where he made his debut as a member of The Shield.
