• Former WWE Star Doesn’t Rule Out AEW Return
Saraya (fka Paige in WWE), who left All Elite Wrestling earlier this year, recently appeared on the ‘Women’s Wrestling Talk’ podcast and revealed that Tony Khan hasn’t closed the door on her potential comeback.
The former Women’s World Champion hinted at a future AEW return, stating:
“I was like, alright, time for me to bow out. Tony was amazing with it. It ended up being mutual, which is great. He was like, let’s do it. Like, that’s perfectly fine.
He was extremely supportive about my future endeavors and he encouraged me and the door was left open, you know, which is great, and yeah, it was just a lot of brainstorming on my time off where I was like, okay, now it’s time for me to bow out gracefully, I guess.”
• Nia Jax Got Busted Open After Chair Shot On SmackDown (Photos)
In the main event of last night’s SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton defeated Nia Jax to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.
During the match, Nia became the first woman in WWE to kick out of Tiffany’s Prettiest Moonsault finishing move. Naomi tried to interfere in the match with a steel chair, but Jade Cargill stopped her.
Nia then tried to use the chair on Tiffany, but Tiffany kicked the chair right into Nia’s face, and then hit the Prettiest Moonsault again for the win.
