Cassie Lee (fka Peyton Royce in WWE) will return to the ring for World Series Wrestling in Australia.
She will be working their Full Throttle tour from October 6th to 13th.
Reacting to this news, Cassie wrote “Let’s grapple!” on Twitter and posted a GIF that had the following caption: “And I’m back in the game!”.
Cassie Lee worked for WWE (including NXT) from 2015 to 2021. She’s known for her tag team run with Billie Kay (Jessica McKay), together known as The IIconics. They won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
After being released from WWE in 2021, both of them joined IMPACT Wrestling and their new team name was ‘The IInspiration’. They ended up winning the IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.
Both of them left IMPACT after asking for their release. They worked there for 6 months.
On January 17th 2023, Cassie gave birth to her son. She’s married to AEW wrestler Shawn Spears (fka Tye Dillinger in WWE).
