• Jeff Jarrett Recalls His Surreal Moment With Vince McMahon
During a recent interview with TMZ Sports, WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett shared his Hall of Fame induction experience and his surreal moment with Vince McMahon there.
Below is what Jarrett said:
“Earlier in the day, we went through just sort of walk-throughs, camera positioning, the order, just simple stuff. They called me back later in the day and said, ‘Hey, we want you to go through just the top of your speech’ and that’s where I had the idea – me and Brian [James] had fun with it – of coming out and spelling my name. I came through the curtain and I laid it out there ‘J-E-double F,’ and did all that and they said, ‘Okay, cut that,’ and I turn around and Vince [McMahon] is two feet in front of my face.
I’ll never forget that, not ever, because it was so out of left field, so spontaneous. WrestleMania is his baby this is number 34, down to the ‘T’ on everything is thought through. He’s got a lot more priorities on his list and for me to connect with him on the stage where I got to do the speech. It was surreal. It was quick, but a real special conversation. A real personal conversation we had.
Just to be able to be there, everyone at WWE making the decision for me to be there in the Hall of Fame and those few moments [with Vince]. Positive doesn’t do it justice, it was super positive.”

At WrestleCon, there was an incident between WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts and former WWE Superstar Davey Boy Smith Jr. (Harry Smith, son of The British Bulldog) where Smith came up to Jake’s table and threw hot coffee in his face.
Smith left the place before police could approach him.
Wrestlezone spoke with Harry Smith regarding this incident and Harry revealed that Roberts refused to apologise for making derogatory comments about his late father during various podcast appearances.
Harry went to Roberts’ table at WrestleCon to confront him, but Roberts refused to have a conversation with him. After Roberts refused, Harry challenged Roberts to a fight outside the event and Roberts then told Harry to “f*** off”.
This led to Harry throwing a cup of coffee in Roberts’ face. Harry then noted that Roberts’ daughter tried to fight him after this.
Harry also revealed that he also had issues with Roberts for offering him drugs back at WrestleCon 2012.
Harry is now wanted by police for this incident. Below is a statement issued by New Orleans Police Department:
“The NOPD is investigating a simple battery incident that occurred on April 7, 2018 in the 500 block of Canal Street. The victim told police that at about 11 a.m., he was signing autographs at the location when he was approached by a known subject, later identified as Harry Smith (DOB: 08-02-1985). The victim told police he attempted to shake hands with Smith, at which time a verbal argument ensued. Smith then allegedly threw a cup of coffee at the victim’s face and fled the scene. No major injuries were reported by the victim.”
