• Former WWE Star Wishes He Took More Steroids
Anabolic Steroids were a big part in Professional Wrestling back in the day – in both making the wrestlers look ‘larger than life’ and in protecting them from injuries.
Even Jim Ross has said in the past that pro-wrestlers should be allowed to take steroids under a doctor’s supervision, since professional wrestling isn’t a legitimate sport.
During a recent interview on the Monte & The Pharaoh show, former WWE Superstar Maven revealed that he took steroids during his time as a pro-wrestler and wishes he took more.
Below is what the former 3-time WWF Hardcore Champion said:
“I loved everything about it. the good, the bad, the ups, the downs. I’m not going to lie, the money. I’m the one wrestler, I’m going to be perfectly honest, whether you like or dislike my answer.
I hate it when guys talk about, ‘Did you take steroids?’ and they beat around it. I did them. I did. I’m not sorry for it. I wish I would have taken more. I would have done everything the same.
At this point in my life, at 46, there is no one I’m trying to get the approval of. Why lie?”
