• Former WWE Title Holder Has Officially Signed With AEW

According to the Wrestling Observer, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese has officially signed with AEW.

Nese made his 1st appearance in All Elite Wrestling on Saturday’s live edition of Dynamite, where he was seated at ringside for Bryan Danielson vs. Dustin Rhodes match.

On Sunday, he wrestled two matches during AEW Dark tapings. Below are the results for his match:

– Tony Nese def. Fuego Del Sol

– Tony Nese def. DeMarcio James

AEW is expected to announce his signing once the above stated matches have aired.

Nese was released from WWE in June. The biggest moment of his WWE career was defeating Buddy Murphy on the WrestleMania 35 Kickoff Show to capture the Cruiserweight Championship.
