Erika (age 33) was known as Veronica Lane in WWE NXT from October 17, 2013 to September 2, 2014. She had a beauty queen gimmick. She even worked as a Ring Announcer and Backstage Interviewer.
Her biggest moment in the ring was teaming up with Becky Lynch to lose to the team of Paige (Saraya) and Bayley.
The couple’s journey to matrimony commenced with a series of extravagant pre-wedding celebrations, including a three-night safari in South Africa, boasting a staggering $2,000 per night price tag. Following this, they embarked on a lavish four-day affair in Egypt, hosting 130 guests amidst the awe-inspiring beauty of the pyramids.
Reflecting on their unconventional wedding plans, Jain revealed, “My first pitch to Erika for the wedding was to get married in space.” The lovebirds, who initially crossed paths at Rumble Boxing, a gym now owned by Hammond, opted for a unique and unforgettable experience to mark the beginning of their new chapter together.
For the wedding day itself, the couple treated their esteemed guests to an unforgettable experience, featuring private tours of the pyramids and Sphinx, as well as a Met Gala-inspired dinner at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Eschewing traditional wedding customs, Jain and Hammond opted for a non-traditional ceremony, devoid of a wedding cake, bridal party, or bridesmaids, emphasizing their preference for a memorable experience over conventional formalities.
The star-studded guest list included luminaries from Hollywood and beyond, with attendees such as Lance Bass, Robin Thicke, Kevin O’Leary, and influential personalities like former Texas governor Rick Perry.
The festivities culminated in a breathtaking display of fireworks, leaving the couple and their guests enraptured by the magical moment.
Reflecting on their wedding night, Jain expressed profound emotion, stating, “We had the best time. It was so special. When the fireworks went off, it was one of the most spectacular moments. I was so emotional, I couldn’t even put it into words.”
