• Former WWF Champion Bashes AEW Over Booking For ‘Smart Marks’

Many Old School WWF/WCW names have been criticizing Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling promotion for their TV product lately, including Jim Cornette, Road Dogg & Eric Bischoff, among several others.

Now it seems Kevin Nash has joined the list.

During the latest episode of his weekly ‘Kliq This’ podcast, Nash bashed them over booking their TV shows (and PPVs) for ‘Smart Marks’ (or short ‘Smarks’), as opposed to classic professional wrestling booking for regular fans and casual fans.

Here’s what Big Daddy Cool had to say:

“AEW roped me in with f**king CM Punk vs Moxley. What they’re doing over is the f**king thing I hate which is, they’re booking for the smarks.

And if you’re smart then you already know there is no way CM Punk would kick with a foot that was injured to re-injure himself and go down and cut the match short.”

This injury angle got a lot of heat from the fans, as Punk got ‘injured’ during his Title Unification match against Jon Moxley and lost, but was completed healed the next week to take on Moxley again.
