Becky Lynch will defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Tegan Nox on WWE Monday Night RAW next week.
If Bekcy wins, she will then face Lyra Valkyria at NXT Halloween Havoc – Night 1.
During a recent episode of his weekly ‘Foley is Pod’ podcast, WWF Legend Mick Foley revealed that in the past, Lynch wanted him to become her on-screen manager.
Here’s what the former 3-time WWF Champion had to say, after he was asked who he would like to manage:
“I can’t think of anybody offhand. Because honestly, I don’t think I have much to offer in a managerial role. Do you know who’s always wanted me to do an angle, like from a managerial perspective? Becky Lynch. She’s pointed that out a few times.
I said, ‘Becky, if you can talk to the powers that be, I would’, but she’s doing really well on her own. So I can’t think offhand of somebody who could benefit from me standing around ringside as a middle-aged man. So I’m open to ideas though.”
Pro Wrestling Legend Mick Foley had a storied career in the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE). He wrestled under various personas, including Mankind, Cactus Jack, and Dude Love, captivating fans with his hardcore style and willingness to endure extreme punishment.
Foley is also famous for his memorable Hell in a Cell match against The Undertaker and his dedication to entertaining fans through his unique characters and unforgettable moments. His contributions to the wrestling world have solidified his legacy as one of the most beloved and enduring figures in WWF/WWE history.
