2. Daniel Bryan Wins The Universal Championship, Bray Wyatt Wins The Royal Rumble
As announced by WWE, Bryan’s second shot at the Universal Championship will be at Royal Rumble this Sunday.
But the match is much more than a Title match for Bryan. He wants to avenge what The Fiend did to him over the past couple of months, and prove that he cannot force him to change like he changed the other wrestlers.
Although Bryan’s win looks almost impossible, WWE could pull a shocker and give Bryan the win at Royal Rumble. He’s arguably the only wrestler who has been getting the most offense against The Fiend in all of his rivalries. For the first time since The Fiend’s debut, he retreated while attacking someone, all because of Daniel Bryan.
The Strap match stipulation could also be a game-changing one for Bryan. As one of the hands of The Fiend would be tied to Bryan in the match, he may face difficulties in locking the Mandible Claw.
In addition, Wyatt is one of the five favourite wrestlers to win the Royal Rumble match. WWE could pull another shocker in the same night by making Wyatt win the Royal Rumble match to challenge Bryan for the Universal Title at WrestleMania.
