Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Charlotte Flair, Tiffany Stratton, and Trish Stratus.
• “Genius Move” – Former WWE Women’s Champion On Charlotte Flair & Tiffany Stratton Going Off-Script
During an interview on Ten Count Media, former WWE Women’s Champion Candice Michelle said the following about Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton going off-script in their promo segment on SmackDown:
“The truth is, it’s kind of a genius move. It really brings out the fire in you. It brings out a side that isn’t choreographed or planned. These two women are incredible athletes, and when it all comes down to it, the performance means more than anything.
But when you add real emotion on top of that, that’s when you get those incredible moments—those times where you really connect with them.
So many people in the world go through stuff like that. Wrestling is about connection, and showing how you get through tough moments. Watching these women on the biggest stage fight for something deeper than just the match—it’s kind of brilliant. I love it.”

• Update On Trish Stratus’ WWE Future After Her Match At Elimination Chamber
WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus made a noteworthy comeback at the Royal Rumble earlier this year. This was followed by an appearance at the Elimination Chamber premium live event. However, the iconic Superstar has been absent from WWE programming since then, leading to speculation about her future with the company.
The uncertainty surrounding Stratus’ return was recently addressed by Sean Ross Sapp on ‘The Hump’. When questioned about whether Stratus would be seen in WWE again, Sapp shed light on her current standing. He explained that while Stratus remains in contact with WWE and actively proposes ideas, there are no immediate plans for her return.
“I was told earlier this year that she’s always kind of in the conversation. She’s always pitching stuff,” Sapp stated. He further elaborated that around the time of the Royal Rumble, there were indications of more involvement for Stratus, which ultimately materialized as her participation in the Elimination Chamber PLE. “But I was told around the time of the Rumble that she was going to do more, and that turned out to be Elimination Chamber. That’s what it was,” Sapp clarified.
At Elimination Chamber, held in Toronto, Stratus teamed up with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton in a tag team match against the formidable duo of Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. The pairing of the veteran and the newcomer proved successful, as Stratus and Stratton secured a significant victory, much to the delight of the Canadian crowd.
