Georgia Authorities Tried To Shut Down AEW Tapings This Week

On this day in 1988, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Wrestling Challenge’.

It was broadcasted from the Viking Hall in Bristol, Tennessee and featured pre-taped matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF SummerSlam 1988’ PPV.

• Georgia Authorities Tried To Shut Down AEW Tapings This Week

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite took place from AEW wrestler QT Marshall’s Gym in Norcross, GA.

According to Wrestlinginc, Georgia authorities arrived at the tapings and tried to get them to shut down.

However, AEW had all the paperwork ready for the TV tapings to go ahead. Georgia state officials stayed their to make sure that proper codes were followed throughout the night.

AEW taped a lot of content, which will air on Dynamite till mid-May.
