GFW/TNA Launches Global Wrestling Network (GWN)

GFW/TNA has launched their own network (similar to the WWE Network) – Global Wrestling Network (GWN). Below is what they posted about it:

Global Wrestling Network Available Now

“The Global Wrestling Network is live as of right now. Right now you have access to the history of this incredible company at your fingertips. In a time where instant gratification is the new normal, GWN has arrived at the perfect time. All the moments, matches, championship celebrations and more are at your disposal to relive, remember and appreciate everything IMPACT has accomplished over the past 16 years.

Many of us look back and remember the destruction that Aces and Eights brought to IMPACT or the time Bully Ray actually put Dixie Carter through a table. How about the incredible matches that Team 3D had with The Wolves and The Hardy Brothers? The rise of EC3? The fall of Decay? It is all there. All ready to be relived over and over again.

For a small monthly fee you can really experience all that GWN has to offer with more additions coming each month. We can’t wait for you to experience all that GWN has to offer!”

Title Match Announced For Tonight’s SmackDown Live

“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles will get his rematch for the United States Championship against “The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin tonight on SmackDown Live. Below is what WWE posted about it:

“AJ Styles may have been knocked down after Baron Corbin dethroned him as United States Champion at WWE Hell in a Cell, but The Phenomenal One has no intention of staying down.

As he alluded to on Talking Smack following the WWE Network special, Styles will be invoking his rematch clause to challenge The Lone Wolf for the star-spangled title tonight on SmackDown LIVE. Can Styles put an end to Corbin’s reign before it gets going, or will the champion back up his brash attitude with another victory?”

Speaking of SmackDown Live, another match that’s announced for tonight is former SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch taking on Ms. Money In The Bank Carmella. Below is what WWE posted about this match:

“Natalya asserted her dominance over the SmackDown LIVE Women’s division at WWE Hell in a Cell when she opted to bash Charlotte Flair’s leg with a steel chair to hold on to her SmackDown Women’s Title, though she lost the match by disqualification.

Tonight on SmackDown LIVE, two of the division’s top competitors will look to establish themselves as next in line for a title opportunity, as Becky Lynch battles Ms. Money in the Bank, Carmella. Who can gain ground in the race for the next opportunity at Natalya’s title?”
