As seen on this week’s episode of RAW, Andrade defeated Rey Mysterio to retain the United States Championship.

Andrade took off Mysterio’s mask during this and went backstage with it.

Later during a backstage segment, Mysterio attacked Andrade and took his mask back.

This began speculation that WWE could be doing a “Mask vs. Title” match between Mysterio & Andrade (a “Mask vs. Hair” match was originally planned for them at WrestleMania 35), but that’s not the case.

According to the Wrestling Observer, despite all signs pointing towards this gimmick match involving Mysterio’s mask happening, there are no plans as of now to do it.
