• Goldberg Takes A Shot At Asuka For Beating His Undefeated Streak
WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg had one of the most dominant records in professional wrestling history. His undefeated streak began in WCW in 1997 and ended in 1998 at Starrcade when he lost the WCW World Heavyweight Championship to Kevin Nash, bringing an end to an incredible 173-0 run that spanned 552 days.
Asuka broke that record years later after joining WWE in 2015. Her undefeated streak lasted an impressive 914 days, stretching from her NXT debut until her first loss to Charlotte Flair in a SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 34.
While speaking to Real Talk with Mike Burke, Goldberg discussed Asuka breaking his record and claimed that WWE booked it on purpose.
“Some girl at WWE. They did it on purpose. I have nothing against the girl, by any means, but yeah.
I was part of WCW when we were kicking their a$$ in the Monday Night Wars. I didn’t know what was going on at the time, I was just on one of the sides. Now, one side dissolves and the other one consumes everything, so they can treat everyone and everything the way they want.
I think there is always going to be the bird in their a$$ that I was part of a company where I was the champion in a very short period of time and we were beating them in the ratings.”
Goldberg retired earlier this year after losing to GUNTHER in a World Heavyweight Championship match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12.

• WWE Planning A Big Return For Early 2026
WWE fans may not have to wait too long to see Liv Morgan back in the ring, and insiders say the company is planning to make her comeback a major moment.
According to a new report from PWInsider, Morgan is progressing well in her recovery from shoulder surgery and is expected to be cleared for action by early 2026. The timeline follows months of rehab after she dislocated her shoulder during the June 16th episode of RAW.
However, sources note that her recovery has been going better than anticipated, leaving the door open for an earlier return if her physical therapy continues ahead of schedule.
Within WWE, very few people know the specifics of Morgan’s return date. The company is said to be keeping her comeback under wraps to ensure it becomes a shock moment when it finally happens.
Creative discussions have reportedly centered around producing a reaction comparable to a surprise Royal Rumble return or post-PLE reveal.
Morgan’s absence has been felt in the women’s division, and multiple people backstage have described her return as one of WWE’s most anticipated moments for 2026. Internally, there’s “a lot of excitement” about her comeback and how it could reshape upcoming storylines.
Her popularity in international markets has also influenced the discussion, especially in Saudi Arabia, where WWE’s next Royal Rumble will take place. Some within the company believe the timing of that event could make it the perfect stage for Morgan’s surprise return.
Liv has already been spotted training again at the WWE Performance Center, signaling that she’s well into the later stages of her rehab. Her recent public appearance at a WWE press event in Las Vegas for WrestleMania 43 only added to speculation that she’s nearing medical clearance.

While WWE hasn’t confirmed anything officially, all signs point to Liv Morgan’s next appearance being one of the biggest surprises of 2026 – and perhaps one of the loudest returns the women’s division has seen in years.
