Fans of The Heartbreak Kid won’t have to wait much longer to see his storied career through a new lens. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE has officially wrapped production on a brand-new, full-length documentary dedicated to Shawn Michaels.
This upcoming feature promises a fresh look at the two-time Hall of Famer, moving beyond his well-known accolades to provide deeper insight into his complicated legacy. To achieve this, the project features a series of newly recorded interviews.
Viewers can expect to hear from a wide range of voices, including his longtime allies and former rivals.
While HBK has been the subject of several specials in the past, this latest documentary is reportedly nearing its official premiere and aims to offer a definitive perspective on his impact both in front of and behind the curtain.
Shawn Michaels currently runs WWE’s NXT brand.

As previously reported, Italy will host a Premium Live Event when Clash In Italy lands at the Inalpi Arena in Turin on Sunday, May 31. This landmark show serves as the anchor for a massive European Summer Tour, which will see the roster travel across Spain, France, and Portugal.
While the PLE itself takes place in Turin, fans in Bologna won’t be left out — they are scheduled to host a live broadcast of Friday Night SmackDown at the Unipol Arena just five days later on June 5.
Looking past the European swing, the spotlight shifts back to the Middle East. Internal reports from Bodyslam suggest that Night of Champions is tentatively set for June 27 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
As previously noted, 2026 will feature 3 Saudi Arabia PLEs, because only one Saudi PLE took place in 2025. WWE is contracted to do two PLEs in Saudi Arabia every year. Royal Rumble 2026 was this year’s first Saudi PLE.
