During a recent interview with PWInsider, WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley of The Dudley Boyz revealed that – despite signing a WWE Legends deal – he has absolutely no interest in returning to WWE TV anytime soon.

D-Von returned to the ring at the IMPACT 1000 anniversary show, after he originally retired from active professional wrestling since 2016.

Here’s what the former multiple time ECW/WWF/WWE/TNA Tag Team Champion had to say about The Dudley Boyz and WWE:

“We did sign Legends deals. It was a few months back, so I was very shocked when I saw reports that we had signed a Legends deal because it made it seem like we had signed it that day or that we had just signed it, and we didn’t.

We signed it, and The Dudley Boyz will now be new action figures, in video games, it’s more merchandise. That, I’m happy to say, we did sign a Legends deal, and we’ll see what happens from there.

I don’t have any plans on going back to WWE. Don’t think WWE has any plans of bringing me back, which is fine. I had a good run there. My run was longer than I ever expected, and I’m very grateful and happy with everything I accomplished there.

I have no ill feelings for anyone there. I wasn’t happy on how things transpired towards the end because, in my opinion, it should have never been done, but it is what it is, and it happens. I’m happy we can still do some business in terms of a Legends deal and we can go from there and see what it’s all about.”

D-Von Dudley, whose real name is Devon Hughes, is a legendary professional wrestler known for his successful career in the world of wrestling. He gained fame as one half of the iconic tag team, The Dudley Boyz, alongside his kayfabe brother, Bubba Ray Dudley.

D-Von and Bubba Ray Dudley were notorious for their hardcore wrestling style, using tables as their signature weapon in many memorable matches.

They were known for their entertaining and often controversial antics, earning them a place in wrestling history.
