During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, DX member X-Pac opened up about getting back in the ring again to wrestle an actual match.
He made it clear that he’s in good shape now, but has no plans to wrestle a match at the moment, but at the same time wouldn’t say ‘no’ if an offer arrives.
Here’s what the former WWF European Champion had to say:
“I’ve been training, feeling good. I’m not saying another big like that, but if I can get a match like a six-man match.”
He was then asked about entering the annual 30-man Royal Rumble match as a surprise entrant.
Here’s what X-Pac replied:
“I could do that.”
Sean Waltman – famously known as ‘X-Pac’ in the wrestling world – entered several 30-man Royal Rumble matches over the years, thrilling fans with his high-flying maneuvers and fearless attitude. Whether as the 1-2-3 Kid or X-Pac, he consistently brought excitement to the Rumble, proving that size doesn’t always matter when it comes to making a memorable impact in one of WWF’s/WWE’s most iconic matches.
In the same interview, Waltman also revealed that he rejected a Red Hot Chili Peppers song as his official entrance theme music at one point:
“That was my idea. Shane McMahon goes up to me, and they’re trying, they’re trying, and he goes ‘hey we’re thinking about having Red Hot Chili Peppers do your theme music’ and I said ‘NO! I WANT UNCLE CRACKER’.”
Sean most famously worked for the World Wrestling Federation as The 1-2-3 Kid (1993-1996) and later as X-Pac (1998-2002), but also wrestled as Syxx in Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling (1996-1997) and as Syxx-Pac in Total Nonstop Action! (2002-2003, 2005-2006 & 2010).
