• Hall Of Famer Set To Return On Next Week’s SmackDown

According to WrestleVotes, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will return on next week’s SmackDown. Cory Hays further added that Trish’s appearance will be related to the upcoming all-women’s PLE, Evolution 2. Trish competed at the first Evolution event in 2018. With Trish celebrating the 25th anniversary of her wrestling debut this year, it’s possible she competes at Evolution 2.

Trish has wrestled twice in WWE this year. She competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble match on February 1 and then competed at the Elimination Chamber premium live event on March 1, where she teamed up with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to defeat Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.

WWE has officially announced the following for next week’s SmackDown:

– Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena vs. R-Truth in a non-title match

– Randy Orton vs. Sami Zayn in the Semi-Final of the King of the Ring tournament

– Alexa Bliss vs. TBD in the Semi-Final of the Queen of the Ring tournament

• AEW’s Latest Strategy Revealed

AEW is now making some of its biggest matches more accessible to fans — and drawing strong viewership in the process.

According to a report from Fightful Select, AEW has recently started uploading full-length matches from major shows and pay-per-views directly to their official YouTube channel. This includes some of the most memorable and important bouts in the company’s history.

This marks a shift in approach, as AEW’s premium match catalog was previously more difficult for fans to access outside of PPV replays or HBO Max. When Fightful asked sources within AEW about the change, they explained that the uploads are part of a broader strategy to drive fans toward AEW’s streaming platforms. Each video includes links and promotional details in the description, encouraging viewers to explore more of the company’s content.

Additionally, some matches posted on YouTube don’t include commentary. The reason for this, according to sources, is that AEW saw a positive reaction to similar commentary-free clips on social media and is now experimenting to see how fans respond to full matches in the same format.
