• Hall Of Famer Teases Having A Match In WWE After 20 Years

SmackDown wrestler Sami Zayn revealed on Twitter that he pitched the idea of him facing two-time WWE Hall Of Famer X-Pac at the SummerSlam 2019 pay-per-view, but the idea was turned down.

Here’s what Zayn replied to a fan’s video of him (as El Generico) wrestling Sean Waltman (as 1-2-3 Kid) in 2011 at a Chikara event:

“I asked if I could wrestle him at SummerSlam two years ago. @TheRealXPac, that is. Not the other guy.”

X-Pac then replied:

“I had a few health/injury issues that needed addressing at that time. Now that I’ve taken care of them, there’s always the next #SummerSlam…if that’s something people want to see. #wwe

*I meant next year’s SummerSlam.”

The last time X-Pac competed in a “WWE ring” was back in 2002. Since X-Pac is teasing a comeback for next year’s SummerSlam, it will end up being a comeback after 20 years (if it happens)!
