• “He gave us an air of legitimacy, because he was the most covered athlete in the world” – The Undertaker On Boxing Legend

During his appearance on Hot Ones, The Undertaker talked about how Boxing Legend Mike Tyson appearing in the WWF in 1998 and being a part of WrestleMania 14 helped the company in their war against WCW.

Here’s what The Phenom said:

“He gave us an air of legitimacy, because he was the most covered athlete in the world.

We were getting our butts handed to us by WCW, they were killing us everywhere. We finally built our roster, it was absolutely the turning point where we never looked back again. It really was. We were on the fast track.

It probably was one of the greatest eras in wrestling in my opinion.”
