• “He Is Far From Out Of Touch” – Eric Bischoff On Vince McMahon

Ever since Vince McMahon recently returned to the WWE Board of Directors, a larger part of the internet wrestling fans have expressed their displeasure, fearing that Vince could undo several creative changes made by his son-in-law Triple H.

For years, a lot of online fans have claimed that Vince is ‘out of touch’ with the current product.

However, on a recent episode of his weekly ’83 Weeks’ podcast, WCW Legend Eric Bischoff stated that Mr. McMahon isn’t out of touch at all.

Here’s what the 2021 WWE Hall of Famer said:

“The whole Vince is old and out of touch thing, you can argue that maybe creatively because you don’t like Vince’s vision of what wrestling should be, but it doesn’t mean that he is not in control of his faculties or that he’s missed a beat.

I think that’s internet wrestling chatter because people aren’t happy with what they’re seeing on television. ‘Oh, it’s because he’s too old.’ No ageism, right?

I would say the events of the last week would suggest that he is far from out of touch.”

Old School WrestleMania Celebrity Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would’ve been the 81st birthday of Old School WWF WrestleMania 1 Celebrity Muhammad Ali (fka Cassius Clay).

Ali is considered one of the best boxers of all time, and probably even THE most famous boxer in the history of boxing.

He wasn’t just the 2nd (outside) special guest referee at the inaugural WWF WrestleMania in 1985, but was also presenting the WCW World Heavyweight Championship to “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan at the end of the Halloween Havoc 1994 PPV, as well as fighting Wrestling Legend Antonio Inoki years earlier (1976) in a “Boxer vs. Wrestler” match.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY & † REST IN PEACE!
