• “He wasn’t smooth in everything” – WWF Veteran On Stone Cold Steve Austin

On an episode of his weekly “The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy” podcast, the former 10 time WWF/WWE Tag Team Champion spoke about working with Stone Cold Steve Austin back in the famous days of the Attitude Era.

Here’s what Matt Hardy said about The Rattlesnake:

“Wild and unpredictable. The match came off a lot more legitimate, like very realistic.

He didn’t choreograph his moves, he wasn’t smooth in everything he did, he was very aggressive and very physical with stuff.

I like to be able to be smooth & technical and really crisp in everything I’m doing, especially if I am wrestling around someone or whatever.

But I also like to be able to have that ability to be very rough and almost make it look like an animal where it looks more like a real fight.”

Matt Hardy and his brother Jeff Hardy first started out as Jobbers on WWF TV, but eventually became WWF Superstars by 1999 and managed to become one of the most famous Tag Teams in professional wrestling history with countless title wins in multiple promotions.

The real-life brothers are currently both signed to Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling.
