Tonight’s AEW WrestleDream 2024 PPV took place at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. Below are the results.

– Queen Aminata confronted TBS Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone & Kamille backstage.

Main PPV Show

– Jay White def. “Hangman” Adam Page

– Mariah May (c) def. Willow Nightingale to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship

– Jack Perry (c) def. Katsuyori Shibata to retain the TNT Championship

After the match, Daniel Garcia confronted Perry. MJF then made his return and took out Garcia, and revealed that he got his Dynamite Diamond Ring back. MJF was about to hit Garcia with the ring. However, Adam Cole made his return and chased MJF away.

– Konosuke Takeshita def. Will Ospreay (c) and Ricochet in a Triple Threat Match to become the new AEW International Champion after Kyle Fletcher turned on Ospreay

– Swerve Strickland made his return. MVP & Shelton Benjamin met with Strickland and offered him to leave Prince Nana and join them. Swerve said Prince Nana is his family, and he’s not turning his back on family.

– Jerry Lynn met with Orange Cassidy and said that in his 40 years in the wrestling business, he has never seen anyone as unique and special like Orange Cassidy. Lynn said that if Cassidy truly tries, he can be the man. Hook walked up and said Cassidy should listen to Jerry because Orange is indeed the man.

– Hologram def. The Beast Mortos in a 2 Out of 3 Falls Match

– Darby Allin def. Brody King

After the match, Brody offered a handshake and Darby accepted.

– The Young Bucks (c) def. Private Party to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship

– Mark Briscoe (c) def. Chris Jericho to retain the ROH World Championship

– Jon Moxley def. Bryan Danielson (c) to win the AEW World Championship

After the match, Moxley gave Claudio Castagnoli the World Title and he put it in a bag. Moxley then took out a plastic bag, but Darby Allin and Wheeler Yuta made the save. Yuta then turned heel and took out Allin. Moxley gave Yuta the plastic bag and he put it over Bryan’s face to choke him. You can watch it below:

Private Party and Jeff Jarrett came out to make the save, but Blackpool Combat Club took them out. BCC put a chair around Bryan’s neck and Claudio kicked it. More wrestlers came to save Bryan and BCC left.
