• Hell In A Cell Match Planned For Royal Rumble 2023

During the post-Survivor Series 2022 press conference, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H confirmed that the Hell In A Cell premium live event is going away.

The Hell in a Cell match will only be done when it’s needed in a storyline, not when the PPV is coming up.

According to Wrestlingnewsco, WWE is currently planning a Hell in a Cell match for Royal Rumble 2023.

While nothing is confirmed regarding who will compete in this match, the planned Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship could take place inside the unforgiving structure.

Reigns & Owens have faced each other in several types of matches – normal singles, TLC match, Steel Cage match, a Last Man Standing match and most recently a WarGames match (but it wasn’t a singles match). It looks like it’s time for them to face off inside Hell in a Cell.
