• RAW Star Feels Ready To Defeat Roman Reigns
During an interview with CityNews Ottawa, United States Champion Austin Theory talked about his new serious character on WWE TV.
Theory said his new character will help prepare him to step in the ring with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and eventually defeat The Tribal Chief.
Below is what Theory said:
“The cocky, arrogant, douchey persona just really gets under people’s skin and it did its purpose. And having the Money In The Bank contract and the way that character was, there’s a little bit of a ceiling there just because when you look at Roman Reigns being so unstoppable and everything.
Whoever is going to beat Roman Reigns it’s gotta be someone that is really going to beat Roman Reigns and not just by some luck, and I think the chapter that Austin Theory is headed now, is setting him up to build to being that qualifier to stand toe to toe with Roman Reigns.”

On this day in 2020, Old School WWF Legend Pat Patterson passed away at the age of 79 from liver failure caused by a blood clot.
Patterson’s biggest accomplishment was being listed as the first ever Intercontinental Champion in the company’s history, after winning a fictional tournament in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In 1992, the first openly gay wrestler was involved in the WWF’s s*x scandal, after former WWF ring boy Tom Cole accused him and 2 others of s*xually abusing him and various other ring boys. Tap here to read more.
Him and Gerald Brisco, both semi-retired at that point, were known as Vince McMahon’s Stooges during the famous WWF Attitude Era days.
