Below are some top AEW & WWE news stories of the day.
• Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Billy Gunn, both currently signed to AEW, are a part of the WWE 2K25 video game and have new WWE action figures on the way.
According to Fightful Select, this cross-promotional presence is made possible through separate Legends Contracts with WWE, allowing the company to utilize their likenesses despite their AEW affiliations.
Roberts, a WWE Hall of Famer, and Gunn, a DX alum, bring nostalgic appeal to the game and toy line, bridging their storied WWE pasts with their current roles as AEW personalities.

• During an interview with ESPN in 2020, The Undertaker discussed his relationship with Hulk Hogan. He recalled his WWF Championship win against Hogan at Survivor Series 1991, which didn’t go well with Taker as he thought Hogan faked his neck injury which the Hulkster claimed was due to the Tombstone Piledriver.
“Finally, I got to San Antonio, I was like, ‘Terry, I watched it back, your head never hit!’ He’s like, ‘Brother, what it was is you had me so tight, that when we came down, I had nowhere to move, and that’s what jammed my neck. I couldn’t move at all’. At that point, then I was like, ‘Okay,’ I kind of realized I know what you’re all about, and that’s all I needed.”
Taker said that they weren’t really close in 2002 either, but he always ended up showing respect to him for the things he did for the wrestling business.
“I was not overly friendly, but if he was in the building, I always made sure to say hello, and engage him in conversation. But, I’ve always, like I said, from that Tuesday In Texas (where he lost the Title back to Hogan), when I got that answer, I knew all I needed to know about him. And then, that’s the way it’s always… my radar was always up, anytime I had to interact with him.”
Undertaker and Kane recently rewatched their WrestleMania 14 match. During the part where Kane hit Undertaker with the Tombstone Piledriver, Taker took a subtle diss at Hogan by saying:
“Ooooh you got me, brother.”
