• “How the f**k do you know this? Shut your a** & watch what happens” – Chris Jericho To A Fan Saying AEW Won’t Sell Out Wembley Stadium

AEW All In 2023 will take place at the Wembley Stadium in London on August 27th.

This will be the first professional wrestling event in the Wembley Stadium in over 30 years.

With 90,000 seats, it is the largest stadium in the UK and the second-largest stadium in Europe.

Many fans believe that All Elite Wrestling won’t be able to sell out the complete stadium, while some hardcore fans think they will.

A fan tweeted:

“There’s no way Tony Khan booked Wembley thinking he was gonna sell 60k+ tickets. I think 30-35k would be a resounding success. The only thing that could come close to selling out Wembley these days is WrestleMania. WWF had around 80k if memory serves for SummerSlam 92.”

Chris Jericho saw this and replied:

“And how the f**k do you know this? Shut your a** and watch what happens.”

Y2J also tweeted the following earlier:

“Makes me laugh when critics already proclaim AEW All In at Wembley Stadium a failure. Nobody has ANY idea how many tickets we will sell… except the fact checkers & promoters who’ve done their research. Once again, I expect a sh*tload of loudmouths to have their mouths SHUT!”

Current record for the highest attendance for an AEW show is 20,177.

WWF SummerSlam 1992 drew 80,355 fans at the Wembley Stadium.

• ON THIS DAY IN WWF HISTORY (April 14, 1984) – WWF Superstars of Wrestling

On this day in 1984, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’.

This was the original third nationally syndicated show that later became known as “WWF Wrestling Spotlight” after the August 30, 1986 episode.

NOT to be confused with the famous weekly “WWF Superstars of Wrestling” TV show, that eventually took over WWF Championship Wrestling in September 1986 and ran until 1997 (before becoming a recap/highlights show that ran till 2001).

Here’s the card:

Jimmy Snuka & Ivan Putski vs. Tiger Chung Lee & Mr. Fuji

Pipers Pit with Tito Santana

Brian Blair vs. Scrub

Big John Studd vs. Jose Luis Rivera

Paul Orndorff vs. S.D. Jones
