• Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Celebrates His Birthday
Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion David Arquette celebrates his 47th birthday today.
After starring in the WCW movie ‘Ready To Rumble’, David also appeared on WCW TV and on the April 26, 2000 episode of WCW Thunder, he became the WCW World Heavyweight Champion by pinning Eric Bischoff in a Tag Team match that had DDP’s title on the line.
He held the belt for 12 days, before losing it in the Triple Cage main event of the ‘WCW Slamboree 2000’ PPV.
It’s worth mentioning that celebrity David Arquette also turned heel during that match and cost his buddy Diamond Dallas Page the match, allowing “The Chosen One” Jeff Jarrett to become champion.

• OLD SCHOOL HISTORY (September 8, 1997) – WWF RAW IS WAR
On this day in 1997, the World Wrestling Federation aired another episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF RAW IS WAR’.
It was broadcasted LIVE from the Cincinnati Gardens in Cincinatti, Ohio and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments, one night after the ‘WWF In Your House 17: Ground Zero’ PPV.

• Huge Title Change Expected To Take Place At Upcoming Shows
According to the Fired Up podcast, SmackDown Live Superstar Samoa Joe is in line to defeat AJ Styles to win the WWE Championship. This would be Joe’s first Title reign on the WWE main roster.
This Title change could happen at either Hell In A Cell 2018 PPV or WWE Super Show-Down in Australia (Styles vs. Joe is scheduled to take place at both these events).
Styles has achieved quite a few milestones under his current WWE Title reign as he is now the longest reigning WWE Champion in SmackDown’s history and his title reign recently surpassed the 300 day mark.
