Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that WWE has offered a contract to The Hardy Boyz. It should be noted that the Hardy Boyz are currently in Ring of Honor Wrestling and are the ROH Tag Team Champions.
During a recent interview with SEScoops, Jeff Hardy confirmed that their deal with ROH is a short term deal:
“We do, it’s a short term deal and it’s cool because we can still work the indies like we’ve been doing. We’ve really had a good time on the independent circuit. We sell a lot of merchandise and take a lot of pictures with fans. It’s great to be your own boss and being able to do TV with Ring of Honor as well.”
No word available as of now on if WWE officials want the Hardy Boyz to return with their “Broken” gimmick or not.
Speaking of their “Broken” gimmick, The Hardy Boyz are currently battling with Impact Wrestling in a lawsuit over the “Broken” gimmick, as Impact Wrestling thinks they own that gimmick and the Hardy Boyz should pay them a percentage of revenue made from that gimmick if they use it.
