As we noted after the 2017 Royal Rumble PPV, The Undertaker was facing hip issues and was hurt after the match. Apparently things aren’t looking good after this week’s Raw either (where The Undertaker took a spear from Roman Reigns).
PWInsider is reporting that there were a lot of discussions going on backstage on this week’s Raw regarding The Undertaker’s post-WrestleMania 33 status as he was in a lot of pain due to his hip issues.
The Undertaker had a hip surgery last year, but needs a major hip replacement surgery and if he gets that done then his in-ring career will likely be over.
This has resulted in WWE officials realizing that WrestleMania 33 could quite possibly end up being The Undertaker’s final match.
No word is available as of now if WWE is planning to add a stipulation related to The Undertaker’s “career” in his match against “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33.
