• Hulk Hogan Is Almost At The Bottom Of The List Of Legit Wrestlers, Claims WWF Veteran
Jim Cornette doesn’t think Hulk Hogan was ever a legitimate wrestler and that Hogan being a major part of Real American Freestyle Wrestling is a bad idea.
On his “Jim Cornette Experience” podcast, Cornette made fun of the idea that Hogan was a serious wrestler. He stated, “When you think of high-quality amateur wrestling, the name Hulk Hogan would be almost at the bottom of the list of anybody in the professional wrestling business.”
Cornette also mentioned, “And I know for a fact from working with people who have been involved in all of these worlds that in the time of Hulkamania, actually as it was happening, most of the amateur wrestlers hated him because it was the bullsh*t wrestling that they weren’t doing.”
He went on to say that Hogan isn’t genuinely tough in the ring and doesn’t understand today’s more athletic style of wrestling.
Jim explained, “Just the idea that he can in any way relate to any of this, and that somebody thinks that he’s still happening in wrestling, oh, well, we’ll capitalize on this incredible roll that the WWE is on, and the big rights fees and all this stuff, and we’ll get not Steve Austin, but Hulk Hogan.”
Cornette added, “I can understand if somebody went to Austin with this (Real American Freestyle Wrestling idea), because he, being himself, could pull it off as a personality and with respect to what the other guys were doing. But Hogan is just going to be bullsh*t, because that’s what he, his DNA, is made of: bull and sh*t. He has zero credibility and experience here.”
Despite Jim Cornette’s opinion, Hulk Hogan was trained by Hiro Matsuda, who was known as a skilled technical wrestler and coach. Hogan’s most recent WWE appearance was on the debut of RAW on Netflix, where the live audience booed him.

• CM Punk Names 3 WWE Stars He Wants To Face, Including Jacob Fatu
During an interview with Netflix’s Tudum, CM Punk was asked to name some wrestlers he’d like to face in WWE.
Punk named United States Champion Jacob Fatu, Finn Balor, and Rey Mysterio:
“Guys I want to work with — Jacob Fatu. Got a little taste at WarGames, but one-on-one stuff is my bread and butter.
Finn Bálor is fantastic. I selfishly want to lock back up with Rey Mysterio, teach him a lesson for having such a brat kid.”
