• Hulk Hogan Left Out of Emmys Tribute, Linda Hogan Calls Snub Political

The Emmy Awards’ annual “In Memoriam” segment drew criticism on Sunday night for excluding some major names – including Hulk Hogan.

While the Academy later clarified that Hogan and others such as horror star Tony Todd and Sopranos actor Jerry Adler appear in the extended online version of the tribute, their names were only shown in a simple scrolling list rather than in the produced broadcast segment. To many, that distinction felt dismissive.

Linda Hogan, Hulk’s ex-wife, isn’t convinced the omission was an accident. Speaking to TMZ, she suggested the move may have been politically motivated, pointing to Hogan’s embrace of conservative politics in recent years, including his appearance at the Republican National Convention in support of Donald Trump. She noted that despite those affiliations, Hogan had supported politicians from both parties throughout his life.

Linda stressed that Hogan’s contribution to television cannot be understated. For decades, he was one of the most recognizable personalities on TV, consistently drawing huge audiences on both network specials and pay-per-view events. She argued that Hogan wasn’t just a wrestling figure – his mainstream visibility introduced professional wrestling to countless new fans who might otherwise have never tuned in.

She also talked about Hogan’s historic role with NBC, which launched Saturday Night’s Main Event in 1985. That show marked the first time wrestling had returned to prime-time network television in decades, and Hogan’s star power was central to its success. For Linda, that legacy alone should have guaranteed him a place in the televised Emmys tribute.

Instead, Hogan’s remembrance was relegated to an online scroll – leaving many, especially those close to him, questioning whether politics played a role in keeping one of television’s most iconic names out of the spotlight one last time.

• General Adnan’s Family Denies Infamous Dog-Eating Story

WWE Hall of Famer Mr. Fuji was known for his extreme ribs on fellow wrestlers. Alongside being a successful wrestler, he managed top teams and stars like Demolition and Yokozuna.

While speaking about his pranks on their DEMOPOD podcast, Demolition told a story of Fuji feeding General Adnan his dog to avenge him repeatedly eating the sandwiches he cooked for himself for lunch.

Here’s what Smash said:

“The story I heard was Fuji used to bring a bag lunch with him… and Fuji could cook, so it was good sandwiches. Adnan did it again. He did it two or three times. Ate his lunch. So then Fuji says, ‘Okay, I’m going to fix this son of a gun.’

So he went over and got his dog and cooked his dog up. Adnan started eating the sandwich and… looked at him, he goes, ‘this is really delicious.’ He goes, ‘it’s your dog.’ And I heard Adnan threw up.”

However, Adnan’s family denied these claims with the following statement on X:

“Just to clear things up: the story about Mr. Fuji killing and cooking our father’s dog is a tall tale that got passed around the wrestling circle. Our father said flat-out Fuji never touched his dog and he had no idea how that rumor even started.”
