Hulk Hogan’s sudden death has not only rocked the wrestling world, but it may also spark a bitter family feud over his multimillion-dollar estate. According to Florida law, Hogan’s wife of two years, Sky Daily, is entitled to a minimum of 30% of his estate – even if the wrestling legend hadn’t updated his will or trust. The 2-time WWE Hall of Famer passed away at age 71 on July 24, reportedly due to cardiac arrest. Behind the scenes, legal experts say his estate planning was extensive, with both a revocable and personal trust in place, but the law is clear when it comes to spousal rights.

“You set up a trust to protect your assets, so you run everything through the trust,” Florida estate expert and paralegal June Frederiksen told The U.S. Sun. She explained that such trusts are designed to avoid lengthy court proceedings and to shield the estate from creditors. However, she noted that even if Sky was not included in the updated version of the trust, “she would still get a spousal elective share, which she is entitled to 30% in Florida.”

Frederiksen also warned of complications if certain assets weren’t transferred into the trusts or if someone contests the distribution instructions. “If Brooke is left out of the will, she can contest it,” she said, suggesting the possibility of a court battle. If the matter goes to probate court, Hogan’s assets – including businesses and properties – could become exposed to creditor claims.

Hogan’s estate is estimated at $25 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. His holdings include a lavish $11.5 million mansion in Clearwater, Florida, as well as multiple businesses. He was the owner of Hogan’s Beach Shop and Hogan’s Hangout, a popular restaurant in Clearwater Beach. Last year, he also launched Real American Beer.

His estranged daughter, Brooke Hogan, could become a central figure in any potential dispute. The two had been distant for years, and Hogan reportedly never met Brooke’s twin children, Oliver and Molly Gene, born in January. Frederiksen noted that if Brooke is not accounted for in the estate plans, she may pursue legal action to claim her share.

Sky Hogan, 49, shared a heartbreaking tribute to her late husband following his death. “My heart is in pieces,” she wrote on Instagram. “I wasn’t ready for this. He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time.”

She added, “This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.”
