• “I always hated that character. He was stuck on this Mick Foley ripoff character” – Former RAW GM On Abyss

WWE Producer Joseph Park, popularly known as Abyss in TNA, was a pretty entertaining gimmick for fans who used to watch the product back then.

Former WCW President and ex-RAW General Manager, Eric Bischoff, wasn’t a fan of the gimmick, however.

While speaking on a bonus episode of his 83 Weeks podcast, he said that he hated the character and considered it a “ripoff Mick Foley character”.

Below is what he said:

“Abyss is a wonderful human being. He is an amazingly talented guy but he was stuck on this Mick Foley ripoff character. I always hated that character, I couldn’t stand it when I was in TNA. I couldn’t wait to get Abyss out of the Abyss character and get him into the Chris Park character which he did a phenomenal job at.”
