This week’s episode of RAW before WrestleMania 42 featured a backstage segment involving The MFTs, The Usos, and LA Knight. Solo Sikoa confronted The Usos, claiming they were embarrassing their family by associating with Knight.

This led to a 6-Man Tag Team match later in the night, where LA Knight and The Usos defeated The MFTs (Solo Sikoa, Tonga Loa, and JC Mateo). The finish came after Tama Tonga appeared at ringside, causing a distraction that allowed the babyfaces to pick up the win.

During the match, Jimmy slapped Jey’s butt a few times to hype him up, after which Jey hit JC Mateo with a suicide dive before getting back in the ring and doing a YEET.

WWE later shared the clip on Instagram with the caption:

“All bro needed was a lil✋️🍑”

Jey responded in the comments with a humorous remark: “I like my a$$ slapped too”

• Top Star Says WWE Does Not Cater To Its Talent At All

WWE wrestlers have one of the most demanding schedules in the industry, spending a large part of the year on the road. Despite being part of a global company, many aspects of their day-to-day responsibilities are handled on their own.

While speaking to Dan Soder on the Soder Podcast, former Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch opened up about the realities of working in WWE and revealed that talent are largely responsible for taking care of themselves when it comes to travel and presentation.

“I mean this politely, we’re not catered to. At all. Maybe there are a couple of folks…as you get more into it, you put up with less sh*t, but we pay for our own gear. They’re not getting us gear. We buy our own gear. We buy our own rental cars and our own hotels. We are in charge of booking those hotels and booking those rental cars.

I think that’s why, actually, when we go to work at other places, whether it be ‘Billions’ or wherever, people are pleasantly surprised at how easy going we are because we’re not used to being catered to. We don’t expect anything. We don’t expect anybody to look after us. We are standardly so self-sufficient.”

Becky Lynch will challenge AJ Lee for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42 – Night 1 in Las Vegas this weekend.
