On a recent episode of ‘Kliq This’, Old School WWF Legend Kevin Nash revealed that he regrets never having a match with CM Punk, before he eventually retired from professional wrestling.

Here’s what the former WWF Champion had to say:

“I never got that match with Punk, I wish I had that. You know what, though? I’ve been blessed, man.

I went out for 8 or 9 years of my life and was across a Hall of Famer almost every night, so I don’t have too many regrets.”

A match between WWF/WCW Legend Kevin Nash and CM Punk was already scheduled and officially announced for the WWE Night of Champions 2011 pay-per-view, but ended up being changed to Triple H vs. CM Punk instead.

They did have on-screen (kayfabe) heat with each other, after Nash cost Punk the WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2011, when he attacked Punk and enabled Alberto Del Rio successfully cashing-in the Money In The Bank contract.

In the upcoming months, the former ‘Big Daddy Cool’ Diesel continued to attack Punk on multiple occasions, but an actual match never ended up happening, and then Kevin left WWE again after losing a Ladder Match to Triple H at the TLC 2011 PPV.
