• “I never liked you” – Ric Flair To ECW Legend

During an interview with PTM’s Vinny Vegas, ECW Legend Sabu talked about crossing paths with Ric Flair in the past and claimed that The Nature Boy did not bother to shake his hand, despite shaking everybody else’s hand.

Here’s what The Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac had to say:

“Ric Flair, he’d come in the dressing room and shake everybody’s hand and skip mine. I’d put my hand out, he’d skip it and embarrass me. I’d go to shake everybody’s hand and I’d go to him.

I’d put it out and he’d turn his back on me. He’d turn his back and I’d try to get a handshake from his back, so I stopped putting my hand out for him.”

During a recent interview with WSI’s James Romero, Sabu further revealed that Flair told him that he never liked him:

“He cut a promo one time, ‘I never liked you. I never liked your uncle.’ And I go, ‘What the f**k you gotta say that for?’

That’s what he felt. He never liked my uncle and doesn’t like me for some reason.

My uncle barely knew who he was. I had to tell him who Ric Flair was. He goes, ‘Which one is that?’ I said, ‘He’s the blonde guy who’s the World Champion.’

He goes, ‘Oh, the fat guy?’ ‘No. The guy who’s in shape, Ric Flair.’”

Sabu and The Nature Boy both wrestled for WWE at the same time in 2006 & 2007 and later met again when both were working for Total Nonstop Action! (TNA) in 2010. They were also together for a few weeks in WCW in 1995.
